Absolutely! You can order sunglasses and customize the lenses/accessories as long as that model supports interchangeable lenses as some models are not designed to have the lenses interchanged. You will just need to call us to place the order for you as custom orders cannot be placed online.

Not sure what sunglasses model you have? Our sunglasses will have the name of the model printed on the inside of the temple. For helmets there is a sticker inside the helmet with the model name. If you are unable to identify your model from the inside of the sunglasses' temple or helmet sticker reach out to us and we'd be happy to help!
Our lens program has features common to every type of lens, such as neutralizing ultraviolet radiation completely up to 400 nm (UV 400 Protection), and maintains colors integrity even with the dark filters. We believe it is not enough to protect the eyes from hazardous radiation and external agents. It is also important to enhance visual acuity and minimize distortion, while offering high quality optics suitable for sports. In some extreme conditions an athlete must rely on technologies to enhance performance and minimize distractions. For this reason, we have expanded the range of filters with specific treatments including anti-fog, hydrophobic, and photochromic technology.
When shopping for sunglasses on our website there is a filter on many of the sunglass collection pages that allow you to filter by specific sizes. Additionally each eyewear model has a sizing diagram located on the model's product page with the suggested fit for that model as well as the dimensions measured in millimeters.
We also offer free shipping/return shipping on all orders over $200 shipped to the lower 48 US states so you can try them on and return what doesn't fit! (orders that contain a helmet are excluded from the free shipping offer)
The sunglasses' sizing measurements can also be found on each models product page under the "size & weight" section. Below are details of what each of these measurements stand for.
Weight - this refers to the general weight of the sunglasses.
Eye Size - also known as the A measurement, this refers to the width of the lenses in millimeters as shown in the diagram.
DBL - stands for Distance Between Lenses and is the measurement of the nose bridge area between the lenses in millimeters as illustrated in the diagram. (note: shield style sunglasses will not include this measurement)
Temple - this measurement refers to the length of the temple arms in millimeters as shown in the diagram.
Dimensions - displayed as an A and B measurement these refer to the width and height of the lenses in millimeters as shown in the diagram. (A = width | B = height)
Base Curve - this refers to the degree of curvature of the lenses, the higher the base curve value the more rounded the lenses will be and the lower the base curve value the more flat the lenses will be. (4 = nearly flat | 8 = very curved)
Each helmet product page has a Size Guide section with each size's measurements as well as a link to our helmet size chart for all helmet models. To measure your head size, wrap a tape measure horizontally around your forehead as shown below. Select the helmet that is the closest fit to that size. A helmet should fit snug on your head, if it moves around a lot while wearing, it is too large.

If this is your first pair of sport prescription eyewear there's a wide range of possible adaptation issues that could exist and in most cases it can be handled without giving up and returning your glasses. We want you to be happy with your new prescription glasses and provide additional support to ensure you are, but if you decide to return your order for any reason just follow the instructions below.
If you ordered prescription eyewear directly through Rudy Project, start your return within 90 days of purchase for a 100% refund for any frame or accessories and a 50% refund for the Rx lenses and any coatings less any shipping and handling fees.

Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) are tax-free accounts that can be used to pay for qualified health expenses. These accounts are usually set up and managed by an HSA or FSA administrator, and you should have access to said HSA/FSA administrator through your employer (ask your HR department!).

Progressive lenses are multi-focal lenses that contain three main fields of vision including near, intermediate and distance. However, progressives do not have a visible line between prescriptions. This gives the wearer a seamless and uninterrupted transition when looking from up-close objects to far-away distance.

Bifocals contain two prescriptions within the same lens. The eyeglass lens is split into two sections; the upper part is for distance vision and the lower part for near vision. When you’re looking at someone who is wearing bifocals, you can often see the line between their nearsighted and farsighted prescription.

Polycarbonate is an excellent choice for people with a strong prescription. These lenses provide visual clarity without adding too much thickness to the lens. While Polycarbonate lenses are not as lightweight as ImpactX® or Trivex lenses they are generally thinner making them ideal for high prescriptions.

Photochromic lenses will go from light to dark by adapting to UV and lighting conditions. Great for versatility and activities with variable light conditions. Photochromic lenses are available in all lens material types but depending on your prescription some exclusions may apply. Additionally some windows, such as a car windshields, contain a UV filter that can affect the activation of some photochromic lenses.

Mirror coatings are a multi-layer reflective coating added to the front of the Rx lens that adds to the aesthetic and helps to block out light. We offer two different mirror coating versions:
Flash - a light mirror where multiple colors of the coating are visible at different angles (recommended for photochromic or standard sun lenses)
Solid – a heavy mirror that prevents your eyes from being visible through the lenses (only available for standard sun lenses)

Today our goal is to go even further by surpassing a new experimental testing protocol based on real accident data and scientific sources. The rotational impact test is a protocol adopted by Rudy Project, in cooperation with accredited and notified bodies, to test and measure the performance of our helmets against rotational impacts. The rotational impact test “pass-fail” criterion is based on the BRIC (Brain Injury Criterion) value, an algorithm that defines the level of brain injury. This value must be less than 0.68. Several studies in fact showed that concussive values of BRIC for humans varied from 0.60, when scaled directly from animal data, to 0.68 when obtained directly from college football players.
