Each helmet product page has a Size Guide section with each size's measurements as well as a link to our helmet size chart for all helmet models. To measure your head size, wrap a tape measure horizontally around your forehead. Select the helmet that is the closest fit to that size. A helmet should fit snug on your head, if it moves while wearing, it is too large.

Contact lenses are closer to your eyes so eyeglass prescriptions are a little different. Generally contact lens exams will include the eyeglass examination vales as well so your Dr. should have both on file.

Prescriptions are normally good for 2 years unless otherwise noted by your doctor. We require an up-to-date valid prescription to place a custom Rx order with us. If you’ve purchased glasses with us previously then we will have your prescription on file and can use it if it is not expired. We recommend having an updated exam done before investing in a new pair of custom Rx glasses.

Please allow 7-10 business days for your custom prescription order to be completed prior to being shipped to you. Once completed you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your order's tracking number included.

Due to the complexity of some custom prescription orders this processing time may be increased. To help expedite the processing time of your Rx order we ask that you make sure to include your prescription by either uploading it at checkout or replying to your order confirmation email with the prescription attached. Please make sure your prescription includes your doctors name, the exam date and all prescription values including your pupil distance (PD) measurement or your order may be delayed.

Polycarbonate is an excellent choice for people with a strong prescription. These lenses provide visual clarity without adding too much thickness to the lens. Photochromic lenses will go from light to dark by adapting to UV and lighting conditions. Great for versatility and activities with variable light conditions. Photochromic lenses are available in all lens material types but depending on your prescription some exclusions may apply. Mirror coatings are a multi-layer coating added to the front of the Rx lens that adds to the aesthetic and helps to block out light. We offer two different mirror coating versions:

Today our goal is to go even further by surpassing a new experimental testing protocol based on real accident data and scientific sources. The WG11 rotational impact test is a protocol adopted by Rudy Project, in cooperation with accredited and notified bodies, to test and measure the performance of our helmets against rotational impacts. The WG11 “pass-fail” criterion is based on the BRIC (Brain Injury Criterion) value, an algorithm that defines the level of brain injury. This value must be less than 0.68. Heather was born and raised in Exeter, NH in a blue-collar, hard-working family. After playing ice hockey with the boys from age 6 until high school, followed by four years on Princeton's Division I women's team, as well as many summers spent in Lake Placid, NY with the US National Team program, Heather shifted her athletic focus from ice hockey to triathlon in 2007. In her first full season as an 18-24 year old amateur triathlete, Heather qualified for and won the Ironman World Championships in Kona in her age group. She turned pro at the end of 2009 and through hard work and her aggressive racing style, Heather has progressed in the sport and is a top contender at every race she enters.

Jason started triathlon at age 16 by getting involved in lots of local races. He continued to race through his time at Penn State where he earned a B.S. in Kinesiology. After graduating he moved to Boulder to pursue a career as a professional. He has been racing ever since across many disciplines of the sport from ITU to 70.3.

Jackson is a 70.3 triathlon specialist who has earned the respect of fans and peers as one of the best all arounders on the circuit. He is a threat to win every time he toes the line, with 4 Ironman 70.3 victories and 14 podiums since 2018 alone. Despite a serious bike crash at the 2019 Ironman 70.3 World Championship, requiring 2 surgeries, he has returned to form with a win and a 70.3 podium in 2020.

Rory is a distance runner who first represented Canada internationally at the 2015 IAAF World Cross Country Championships in the U20 division.
